ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Would you choose forgiveness over revenge? Would you rather extend a handshake of truce than throw a rude hand sign? Well, Baby Rabbit would!

The brainchild of influential Thai graffiti artist, Alex Face, Baby Rabbit represents peace and contemplation in a world of chaos. Baby Rabbit looks cute at first glance, but it won’t take long before you notice the worried look in his eyes.

He wears a coat of white fur and holds up a baby rabbit as an offering of friendship. However, turn him around and you would find that he hides a cheeky middle-finger sign behind his back, telling us that we should choose to make peace rather than let our anger and hate take over us. His third eye is a signature characteristic of Alex Face’s baby figures, symbolising the spiritual and unknown realm that we can only feel but cannot see.

Baby Rabbit by Alex Face stands 12” tall, is made from polystone, and comes in a limited edition of 200 pieces only, each piece individually numbered with edition size. AND to celebrate our first toy with Alex Face, we are happy to throw in free shipping for this item! Bring peace to your hearts with the adorable Baby Rabbit!

Alex Face

Streetartist

Patcharapol Tangruen, also known as Alex Face, is a well-known and influential graffiti artist in Thailand. Alex considers himself as an artist with a social conscience. His signature characters are babies, sometimes in animal suits, who look cute at first glance but also worried and aged. The baby idea was apparently inspired by the birth of his daughter. “The first time I saw her she looked angry or worried” he told me. It made him why she looked like that, causing him to reflect on the life she had ahead. “I thought are you not happy to be my daughter? Are you not happy to be in the world?” Ultimately this world changing personal event had caused Alex to consider the future and in particular to take stock of the changes happening in his own country, the country in which she would grow up.
