SyndiCats: Nyakuza (SGCC 2023 Custom) - Wolfsloth

The Syndicat: Nyankuza Custom Show collection is here! Last year at Singapore Comic Con 2023, we brought together 28 incredible artists to make their mark on our adorable Syndicat: Nyankuza. The result? A breathtaking collection of 28 unique custom designs that showcased the limitless possibilities of their artistry.

Each cat, 1-of-1, is a visual masterpiece that encapsulates the essence of each artist's style, identity & ethos.

Artist: Gabriel De Souza

"Born in 1989, Gabriel De Souza, also known as Wolfsloth, is a Singaporean artist whose creative pursuits span across several mediums and cultures. A graduate of Lasalle College of the Arts (2011), Gabriel received a diploma in Fine Arts majoring in graphic novel illustration. A painter, illustrator, and tattoo artist, he has also had a 16-year stint as the guitarist for one of Singapore’s foremost post-hardcore bands, Caracal.

His works draw inspiration from ukiyo-e, surrealism, mythology, animal folklore, and nature, which he carefully weaves into his art through his signature visual style and unique language of colour. Gabriel seeks to constantly push his creative boundaries, in a bid to create stimulating work, translating his singular aesthetic across different mediums, forging a connection between his love for music and his visual expressions."
